It’s not hard to figure out what is on a Tween’s mind today. It’s summer – school’s out. In the middle of the desert it is currently 110 during the days; in high 70s at night. School’s out soon!
Yet today’s Tween is the most sophisticated since the days of Egypt when Tween boys were looking at becoming a megastar ruler in a few years.
Forty-four years ago a late teen Alice Cooper formed a high school band. This week he gets to meet the President. Today’s Tween may think Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus, but they would love to meet the “coolest president in history.”
Me, I’d settle for knowing Malia and Sasha’s weekly allowance. To think, I used to set that dude’s (in the video) equipment up at the local ice rink. He’s old enough to be a grandfather. Look carefully at the audience; yes, that is your grandparents!
