Evidently drunks in Aruba have not heard of the best vocalists in the world. Listen on this video as the crowd goes, "They're really good." The crowd also had no concept of "Do You Believe in Magic" (Doesn't sound like The Spoonful). Image if the Dynamic Duo had hit them with "Like Whoa"!
The mystery is - why did Aly and AJ need to watch the monitor on "Do You Believe in Magic"? What's up with that?
To quote Jonasmontana.wordpress.com, “Its release date keeps getting pushed back – not a good thing in the entertainment biz. Now scheduled for Easter, 2009.”
A day after Miley Cyrus says she won’t do another Hannah Montana film, even the director says he is kaput with the whole thing. This from E-Online – “Miley Cyrus isn't the only one saying we probably won't be seeing a sequel to the not-even-released yet Hannah Montana movie.
“The musical movie's director, Peter Chelsom, also predicts this is it for Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana on the big screen.”
People, you’re getting a red flag this movie is terrible. You don’t need to see spots to tell a dog. Yet parents will pay up to $10 per child to see this when it will be on DVD and Blu-Ray around the winter holidays. Is it really that important to see a movie when it’s released? Go read a Mark Twain book. It is more entertaining and better for the mind. Save your money. You work hard for it; why go in and say, “I should have listened to Tween Music blog and saved my money.
Miley Cyrus gave this quote to Associated Press on the eve of the release of her Hannah Montana movie, "I don't know if I would do another (Hannah Montana) film, but I would love to do another season," said Cyrus, who's signed up for a third and says she's interested in a fourth."
Evidently she hasn’t heard of Disney’s three strikes, you’re out rule. It means after three seasons, your show's kaput. Only two acts have broken this – Raven Simone and Zack and Cody. Each had the show renamed, though.

For years I’ve been calling Tweens “the Zack and Cody generation.” With the popularity of Ms. $400,000 per day Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, I thought I was wrong.
The fantastic part is Zack and Cody justified my faith by taking the 2009 Kids’ Choice Award for best TV actor. Can you name the billionaire twin TV actors/actresses who are Zack & Cody’s managers?
It is time for the Zack and Cody generation!

His newest song is "Colonized Mind." Wait 'til you hear this, if you ever do. Seems Prince is releasing three CDs all at once, for $12 (total - all 3) through Target.
Limited distribution agreements have only worked for The Eagles. "All Wrapped Up," Disney's Christmas CD, was released through Target. It wasn't even listed on Target's Web site.
Guns 'n' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" sank with a limited distribution through Best Buy.
"Colorized Mind" has some fantastic guitar playing. Hope you get to hear it. A link has been provided above.
As Marketing Sociologist has noted, downloads are surpassing any other form of music sales, hitting 1-billion last year. Why wouldn't Prince want to optimize his marketing with it on YouTube, MySpace, Amazon, iTunes and other venues? Target is not the brightest music marketer in the world. It doesn't look like they will offer this as downloads. Here's how they describe Prince, "the Soul legend." Yeah, right, and Miley Cyrus sings heavy metal.
Prince should take a lesson from a 15-years old New Jersey girl. Tiffany Giandina offered her first CD as a download for $1.98 for like the first day or week. Now it is at $9.99, which is still a bargain.
Good luck to Prince on this. It is a great work. He is going to be on late night TV like U2 recently did. The music world is waking up that print media in no longer a way to build brand awareness. The world is switching from public relations (similar to buggy whip manufacturing) to marketing sociology. Remember you heard it here - and the Prince song, too - first.
