Forbes top celebrity list only off about a third
for Taylor Swift's 2009 income
Afraid to look at what Forbes did to
Jonas Brothers

Forbes was a LOT kinder to Taylor Swift than Miley Cyrus.

Forbes placed Swift's 2009 at $45-million, which is about 2/3 of what she actually made. Better than Cyrus' 1/3 reported by Forbes.

Swift's Fearless was released in 2008, but to be honest, Swift didn't kick into being the hottest thing in show business for this decade until about June of 2009.

Swift recently commanded $3.7-million for a Boston Gillette Stadium concert. Let's be conservative and say the 56 shows she did in 2009 earned her only $750,00 per performance. That's $42-million, close to the $45-million Forbes gave her. We'll overlook the $10-million plus she made on iTune and CD sales in 2009. Forbes uses New Math and I don't want to mess that up. To be honest, after reviewing what they did to Cyrus, I have no idea how they apply New Math.

More honesty. Don't think I have enough fingers and toes to figure out how many singles hits Swift had in 2009 Let's say she made about half-a-million off EACH of those.

I'm afraid to look at what Forbes did to other artists, including The Jonas Brothers. I DO KNOW Ke$ha's 2010 income will blow up like a nuke bomb compared to her 2009 income. I just paid a gazillion $$$ to see her July 22 show...
