There will be a Miley Cyrus Hannah Montana CD musical work by September 2009

On June 9, 2009 this site announced a Miley Cyrus CD in time for the fall 2009 tour, which this site also announced first on April 11. Wrong, it will be a 2009 Hannah Montana CD.

Just released was “He Could Be the One,” which joins “Ice Cream Freeze” and the David Archuleta duet, “I Want to Know You,” all under the Hannah Montana brand, not Miley Cyrus. One more song and there can be the second Hannah Montana CD (third if you include the movie, fourth if you include Miley/Hannah double CD). Just like the movie and the first Hannah Montana this one will include songs by other artists – remember the 2002 Lizzie Mcguire CD?

Leave comments, link. Thank you for support of this site as we plow our way to “first after first.” Miley tour (April 11 here; June 3 elsewhere); Ashley Tisdale at the Grove LA (June 5 here; June 13 on Twitter by Ashley Tisdale); “Masquaerade” by Ashley Tisdale (June 7 here; June 12 Ashley Tisdale’s site). Also, first to announce filming of “Beastly;” “The Last Song” and location of Alyson Michalka’s “The Roommate” filming. Probably first on “I Love You Beth Cooper” and “Bandslam,” but that’s open for debate.

Aly & AJ foregoing music for acting and going separate ways?

You knew the day had to come when Aly & AJ would grow up. Sure they’ve got a new recorded work that just wrapped, but.. (and they’ve admitted no plans for touring to back it up – the kiss of death in music).

It looks like the two are going into acting instead. On Aug.14, Alyson Michalka (her stage name) will star with Vanessa Hudgens in Bandslam.

This past week she filmed (unknown release date) The Roommate at 1700 Lida Street, Pasadena within a long stone’s throw to fellow musician Eddie Van Halen’s home. It stars Twilight member Cam Gigandet.

Meanwhile, Amanda Michalka reportedly just wrapped The Lovely Bones, based on an Alice Sebold novel. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg and Susan Saradon. Hope AJ took acting lessons from that pair – some of the best in the business.
