Known as one of the losers of 2009, the Bandslam movie will be released on DVD Dec. 7 according to Wikipedia.I enjoyed the movie. It has grossed $10-million worldwide in theater distribution. That's better than what I made this year, so I wouldn't call it a failure.
The fault may be how it was marketed. It is quite an intellectual film in the Terms of Endearment genre. Yet it was marketed as a teen romance film and coming of age.
