Spend nearly $30 and get these
Shake It Up I < 3 Dance bonus songs

Both Target and Walmart have additional songs. You can pick up the CD for $10 at Walmart and get "Get'cha Head In the Game" by Bella Thorne and "I Do"by Drew Seeley. At Target, it's $12 and you get "I'm Back" by Zendaya, "Freaky Freakend," Coco Jones and "Law of Averages," TKO, SOS, & Nevermind.

Nice of Disney to be so consumer focused in this "sequester" (that's government talk for everyone is broke and we're making it worse) age that parents will need to go out and buy two CDs instead of one.

Yawn Jonas Brothers to announce
New CD, tour
On Ryan Seacrest Aug. 16, 2012

Jonas Brothers are expected to announce a new CD and 2012 tour on Ryan Seacrest's Los Angeles radio show Aug. 16, 2012.

Right.

Same deal as 78violet Aly and AJ CD and tour. Last century this stuff was called "vapor-ware." You're never going to see it.

Taylor Swift in recording studio
Preparing 2012 CD

Against my advice, Taylor Swift is in the studio preparing another CD for 2012 (presumably summer) release.

I blogged a year ago she should lay low on released material, release two greatest hits CDs.

Hannah Montana Forever soundtrack CD
release date announced

Yawn. Already covered that it is all available on YouTube. CD release date is set for Oct. 19, 2010. Will it go #1? I bet not. As yesterday as Hilary Duff. At least it comes out a week before Taylor Swift's Speak Now, which will be #1 out of the box.

Latest on Bandslam soundtrack

I’m speculating here, but I believe the band’s name in Bandslam will be I Can't Go On, I'll Go On (confirmed July 6, 2009). Here are some references to that name. More than likely it is a reference to Nobel Prize laureate Samuel Beckett (another Irish writer – we’re everywhere). Beckett had a “reader” with this title.

It could be a Los Angeles band, The Broken West, that has a CD by that name – of course they could be the backing band with Alyson Michalka and Vanessa Hudgens adding vocals on the soundtrack.

Either way, I’m up for any music – outside a high school production – featuring the heavenly voices of either Michalka sister and Vanessa Hudgens. Bandslam “album” due Aug. 11. Maybe like Ashley Tisdale Guilty Pleasure available on UK and Japan Amazon months before US. If you do go to Amazon UK or Japan, you can pick up the book, Bandslam: Will’s Guide to Music. Bandslam’s original title was Will.

Will new Aly & AJ have Beatles reference?

The question is, since Aly & AJ have completed another CD, will it continue in the tradition of their two non-Christmas works and contain a Beatles reference? Both “Into the Rush” (title track and CD name) and “Closure” from “Insomniatics” have Beatles references.

Into the Rush started it when the Dynamic Duo sang, “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.” The second CD had a backwards loop on “Closure,” something history gives the Beatles credit for creating.

Question is, if they do continue, what will the Beatles reference be? So many options. Please comment.
