Bandslam movie has failed to make $3-million in its first week. It opened at #13. The soundtrack, released Aug. 11, should have been on the charts this week. Per Billboard, "album has failed to chart."
Wow. I thought the movie was going to excel. It has had spotty marketing. The video of Vanessa Hudgens singing Everything I Own was out for months, but no one - even today - has thought of releasing a single and getting airplay. Think if they had utilized Marketing Sociologist. Would have been one of the year's biggest, not the dog of the year.
