I Love you Beth Cooper
Opens in fifth place
As predicted, it bombed

When will movie producers learn? This is not the 20th Century and marketing needs to be done differently. What started out with great promise in the spring ended in calamity this summer weekend.

While High School the Music 3, Hannah Montana the move both ended around $45-million their opening weekend – and 17 again did $24-million its first weekend, April 17 – I Love You Beth Cooper opened at fifth place, grossing, ready for this(?) - $5-million!

Thought this would be the movie that would give Harry Potter competition. It finished behind Public Enemies, a movie I haven’t even heard of . It finished behind the Twilight New Moon trailers!

What could have been if they had talked to Marketing Sociologist!
